Overview
Mavimax Corporation licenses Enduro/X products. The main licensing model of the programs and libraries is based on GNU Affero General Public License Version 3, which allows the use of the middleware for open-source software. Mavimax also provides a commercial license EULA which allows Enduro/X linking with non-open source software and binary distributions of the software. The third option is fully custom-licensed Enduro/X source code (with a noncompetition clause in the middleware market segment). As a result, the licensee becomes OEM and can fully integrate Enduro/X into their product(s) with no further reference to Mavimax.
License for Go and Java
There are exceptions defined for Go and Java programming languages so that the Enduro/X Core AGPL license does not affect code written in Go (as defined by Google or later authors) or Java (as defined by Sun Microsystems or later authors) programming languages. The Enduro/X for Go and Enduro/X for Java modules are licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License V3, which permits commercial usage (and linking with software), but any changes to the module would require these changes to be back propagated to open source.
Commercial support is available for systems written in these programming languages. If support is acquired, then Enduro/X Core and corresponding language module support must be purchased together.
